I completed my B.S at University Of Maryland, College Park, MD from the R.H. Smith School of Business: Information Systems;

Received College Park Scholars Academic Citation and am currently a Master of Information Management Candidate.

 

Systems Analyst, Systems People, Inc., Sterling, VA: Worked with the World Bank to develop a Content Management System. Prepared project deliverables and daily reports. Published user documents such as: Requirement & Design specifications, wire frames and meeting minutes. Interviewed users before and after completion of project.

 

Database Systems MBA Teaching Assistant, R.H. Business School, College Park, MD: Led discussion section of 24 MBA students. Provided support and setup a lab. Designed comprehensive print and web based tutorials.

• Instructional Materials now part of curriculum used by all Database System professors

 

Webmaster, NASA, Wallops Island, VA: Redesigned entire site to be more visually appealing and restructured navigation, while coordinating with rules and regulations, keeping site design consistent with NASA standards. Site allows for real-time interpretation of data and database interactivity.

• Resulted in NASA receiving greater Funding in department.

 

Webmaster, K&L Microwave, Salisbury, MD: Administered website for Fortune 500 company. Created consistent design templates with interactivity that enabled user feedback and provided specific auto-responses based on user input. Updated site daily. Designed an e-commerce system for B2B transactions. Responsible for hardware, software purchasing decisions, technical support.

• Directly managed an Assistant Webmaster.

• Awarded Best RF website by RF Globalnet Industry Magazine.

 

Lead Mentor, Dell TechKnow Program: Launched program at McKinley Tech High school to remove technology barriers for children. Recruited college students to volunteer, instructed groups of 24 children how to assemble and use computers.

• Resulted in the award of dell computers to disadvantaged children and continuation of program.

 

Business Computing Teaching Assistant, R.H. Business School, College Park, MD: Led discussion section of 32 students. Coordinated group activities. Managed and oversaw 8 teams to the completion of the internationally recognized Rwanda Project. Administered exams to lecture groups of 240 students.

• Materials now part of National University of Rwanda’s Curriculum

Webpage Design: Experience in designing Webpages (HTML, JavaScript, Active Server Pages, Dream Weaver, FrontPage & Flash).

E-commerce: Experience creating and implementing e-commerce systems, including one for a Fortune500 company. (variety of e-commerce systems, also custom scripting in ASP & Perl)
